Elevate your space to reflect the man you are.
They always say: "Dress for the job you want."
So why wouldn't your home reflect the life you want to be living?
YOUR SPACE; MADE to reflect who you are and where you're going.
NO HASSLE. NO SHOPPING. NO STORES.
SO, WHY MAN UP?
THE STORY
It all began as a favor for one of my close guy friends. He is a successful, single, handsome finance guy living in New York City's West Village. He is the most eligible of eligible bachelors, yet his bedroom screamed, "CRACK DEN!!!"
"You bring girls home to this?" I asked, staring at the naked box spring and mattress in the middle of his hardwood floor. Cardboard boxes lined the baseboards and untouched bed frame rails leaned in the corner....even though he'd been residing in this apartment for the last 2 years. The radiator served as his night stand and towel rack, and a stock image of a couple in black and white (from the inside of an Aaron Brothers frame) was duck taped to the wall.
He just smiled, "I'm a simple guy!"
"Right. And that's ok. But you LIVE here now. Don't you want it to feel a little more like home? And reflect who you are?"
"Yeah, I just don't have time...Or really know what to get."
With that, MAN Up was born.
He gave me a budget and his credit card, and I assured him I would do nothing extravagant, over-the-top or girly. I ordered him a rug, new bed linens, a bed frame, a side table, shelving unit, clothes hamper, closet organizers and art--the basics. That's all he needed.
The result? Next I saw him, he had a new girlfriend and a new job.
I'm not saying I had anything to do with the GF or the job, but I am suggesting that your living space should reflect you--the man you want to be, and the life you want to live. They always say, "dress for the job you want," so why wouldn't you live for the life you want? Conscious or not, elevating your living space and surroundings can do wonders for you psychologically; for your self esteem and self-image.
Call me, maybe.
